Story idea research
The main thing that inspired the groups story idea is the anime and manga series, Death Note Death Note is a Japanese manga series that was written by Tsugami Ohba and was illustrated by Takeshi Obata and it originally ran from December 1, 2003 to May 15, 2006 for 12 volumes. Later a television anime adaptation aired in Japan from October 3, 2006, to June 26, 2007 and was composed of 37 episodes. The anime was developed by Madhouse and was directed by Tetsuro Araki. The series follows Light Yagami, a smart high school students who later discovers a supernatural notebook from the Shinigami named Ryuk that grants the users the ability to kill anyone whose name and face the user know, as long as their name is written inside. The series centres around Light who feels like he must become a god and attempts of create and rule a crime-freed world where he choose who lives and dies using the notebook by killing off anyone deemed a criminal.
