Group meeting discutions 2



At the start of this discussion the first thing mentioned was possible effects that could be added to the sequence, which is followed by with a suggestion for the possible use of a poor quality/older camera which could be used in our sequence. This would be done to create the effect of a character being filmed through a phone or cheap camera which will be used in the sequence at some point.

This was then followed by the mentioning of possible camera shots that could be used starting with a close up of one character looking towards different sides which changes to them looking at other characters from their point of view.

We then further talk about possible effects and the use of the fake blood with another mentioning of possible camera angles as we then begin to talk about possible props- weapons.

This is followed by the group talking about how many characters/actors will be needed where it ends.

This is the storyboard containing the idea for the film, this is the groups first idea so there may also be changes later on to small details or the entire thing. I do have another idea for an opening sequence, so there's a chance I'll look at that later on. If the rest of the group is okay with it there is a chance they might prefer that idea as it may make more sense compared to this one.   The group I am in only has three people, which won't be enough so I will ask some friends if it is possible for them to fill some extra roles.

Film: Mission Impossible 4 Ghost Protocol (2011) Genre: Action, Thriller, Adventure, Spy Film: The Man with the Golden Arm (1955) Genre: Drama (song, visuals) Title sequences gone far in the way they have been presented. Earlier sequences mostly revealed the names of important crew members and actors, later sequences now sometimes use them to show part of the upcoming story and set enigmas. Over the years the ones we see today are said to have been built from "se7en" 's title sequence, since Kyle Cooper the creator of the sequence was said to have broken the mould in the creation of the sequence.  The title sequence for Se7en (1995) uses close up shots throughout. The type of font used for any text shown is unsteady, it moves slightly in a from ranging from a slight shake to overlapping to flashing up to being flipped backwards quickly and so on.  Each close up is only on screen for a moment but the images shown leave the audience in questioning a...

Hostage (2005) Genre: Action, Crime, Drama Description: A failed police negotiator turned small-town cop, must save the lives of a family held hostage, which draws him into a much more dangerous situation. This film could be comparable in someway to the groups idea. Our idea is about a person whose friend is kidnapped, the situation is already dangerous but upon deciding to save them things get worse as they are now basically facing the danger head on. Deciding to fight against it in their own way. I haven't watched the film 'Hostage' myself but from the description and the trailer I have been given a rough idea of what happened. The film runs around the failed police negotiator, and it appears that he tries to face the situation in his own way which in turn puts him in a bad situation.
